RIGOO — Telescope Battery Pack
A 12V battery system engineered to power your telescope mount and function as a counterweight at the same time. Two sizes. One clean setup.
Battery + Counterweight in One
Traditional telescope mount setups require a separate counterweight to balance the optical train. RIGOO is designed to mount directly on the counterweight bar — powering your rig while simultaneously providing the mechanical balance your mount needs. One less accessory to carry. One less thing to cable-manage.
Engineered to specific weights matching common counterweight configurations for popular telescope mounts.
Slides onto a standard counterweight shaft with a secure locking collar. Compatible with most EQ and AZ-GoTo mounts.
Cable exits along the mount bar to minimise swing and avoid catching during slews and meridian flips.
Two versions — planned for 2026
RIGOO 21 Li-ion

RIGOO 21 LiFePO4
12V · 21Ah · ~268Wh
LiFePO4 chemistry delivers superior cold-weather performance and dramatically longer cycle life. Built on the same deep-tech power electronics knowledge driving our DIOO space battery pack development.
- ◎ Maximum cold-weather performance to −20 °C
- ◎ 2000+ cycles to 80% capacity
- ◎ Zero thermal runaway risk
- — Full specs published at launch
RIGOO 42 LiFePO4
12V · 42Ah · ~537Wh
The ultimate field power solution. Maximum capacity, maximum longevity, maximum cold-weather resilience. For the astronomer who never compromises.
- ◎ Highest capacity in the RIGOO range
- ◎ LiFePO4 long-cycle chemistry
- ◎ Observatory and expedition grade
- — Full specs published at launch
Which chemistry is right for you?
Li-ion
- ✓ Higher energy density — lighter for same capacity
- ✓ Lower cost
- ✓ ~1000 cycles to 80%
- — Performance drops below −10 °C
Best for: portable setups, travel astronomy, mild climates
LiFePO4
- ◎ Superior cold-weather performance to −20 °C
- ◎ 2000+ cycles — far longer service life
- ◎ Zero thermal runaway risk — inherently safe
- — Slightly heavier for same capacity
Best for: harsh winters, observatory use, long-term investment
